Crime Report: Rifling Through Cars at Newbridge Park
Recent police activity in Bellmore as reported by the 1st and 7th Precincts.
Two men were arrested Monday after police officers observed them rifling through a parked vehicle at Newbridge Road Park.
According to a police report, Jerry Torres, 45, of Elmont and Steven Resnikoff, 57, of Ronkonkoma were seen going through the contents of an unlocked 2007 Nissan Quest.
Torres and Resnikoff were driving a 1997 Dodge Caravan with a North Carolina Registration. They were charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd.
