Crime Report: Graffiti at Multiple Locations, DWI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.

  • Between June 12 at 12 p.m. and June 15 at 9:30 p.m., a hole was cut in the fence at the LIPA facility on Sunrise Highway in Bellmore.
  • On June 13 at 3 p.m., a resident reported damage to the interior of his boat that was shrink wrapped and parked in the marina on Public Highway in Bellmore. The curtains were ripped and damage to the couch and cushions were also reported.
  • On June 16 at 9:50 p.m., a suspect walked up to a vehicle at the corner of Marion Street and Bellmore Avenue and kicked the front bumper with his foot causing scratches and marks to the complainant’s 2009 black Honda. No arrest was made.
  • Between 3 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. on June 17, a vehicle's taillights and mirror were broken while parked on Chapman Avenue in Bellmore.
  • Graffitti was found on the side of Domino's Pizza on Bellmore Avenue in Bellmore on June 17. The incident is said to have occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on the same day.
  • Graffiti was found at the Citgo gas station on Jerusalem Avenue in North Bellmore on June 18. The incident is said to have occurred between June 17 at 9:30 p.m. and June 18 at 7 a.m.
  • On June 19, Stanley J. Trunack, 29, of Bellmore, was arrested on Merrick Road near Arby Court in Wantagh and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and one violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
