- On Sept. 21, a 17 year-old from Bellmore was arrested on Bellmore Avenue near Merrick Road and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and seven violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
- On Oct. 1 at 2 p.m., a woman had money stolen from her pocketbook while she was at The Good Will Store, which is located at 2786 Merrick Rd. in Bellmore.

Michael Toporek, 19, of Merrick, was arrested on Shore
Road in Bellmore and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
