Crime Nearby: Three Teens Arrested for Criminal Mischief, Kia Auto World Damaged

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.

Bellmore

  • On May 30, a vehicle window was broken while the vehicle was parked at the Bellmore LIRR station.
  • Sometime on May 31, license plates were removed from a vehicle parked on Sunrise Highway.

East Meadow

  • A vehicle window was broken and a laptop was removed from a car that ws located at Kia Auto World on May 27.
  • The rear window of Kia Auto World was broken on May 27.
  • The handle and padlock of a shed at Home Depot was broken on May 28.
  • On May 29, a suspect removed $227 worth of batteries from CVS.
  • A bike was removed from an unlocked shed on Coolidge Drive on May 29.

Levittown

  • Schelle Bayoumy was arrested on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown and was charged with petit larceny on May 31.
  • On June 2, Jennifer Adamkiewicz was arrested on Jerusalem Avenue in Levittown and was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Merrick

  • A laptop was removed from an unlocked whicle located on Gatch Street on May 23.
  • A vehicle side window was damaged on May 28. The vehicle was located on Little Whaleneck Drive and Abbott Avenue.
  • On May 29, Jesse Chicco, 24, of North Merrick, was arrested on Wantagh Avenue near Railroad Avenue, Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and two violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
  • A complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle from a home on Hedge Lane on May 29.
  • A vehicle window was broken on May 30 while the vehicle was parked at the Merrick LIRR station. No loss was reported.
  • On June 1, Wendy Falowski, 43, of Sayville, was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Fox Boulevard, Merrick and charged with driving while intoxicated and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
  • On June 2, Kendall Paul, 17, of Allwyn Street, Baldwin was arrested at GameStop, 2200 Sunrise Highway, Merrick and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.
  • A complainant discovered the rear driver side window of their 2010 brown Chevy broken and CCs, iPad, Camera, Pocketbook and other miscellaneous items were missing. The vehicle was entered on June 3 and was located on Sunrise Highway.
  • On June 4, Todd Kaplan, 29, of Merrick, was arrested on Bernard Street, Merrick and charged with driving while ability impaired and four violations of the vehicle and traffic law.

Seaford

  • Sometime between May 28 and May 29, an unknown suspect(s) broke the side sliding glass door of complainant’s residence on Beechwood Place.
  • On May 30, Robert Chmiel, 47, of Inwood, was arrested on Merrick Road near Washington Avenue, Seaford.
  • On June 3, Safraz Nabibaksh, 37, of Woodhaven, was arrested at the Seventh Precinct in Seaford and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and petit larceny.

Wantagh

  • Sometime between May 28 and May 31, a complainant discovered damage to a construction fence at Cedar Creek Park caused by unknown suspect(s).
  • A complainant discovered that an unknown suspect cut the rope holding her boat to the dock and removed the row boat. This happened on Riverside Drive.
  • On June 3, Chelsea Bryant, 19, of Lindenhurst, was arrested on Tally Lane near Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, second degree and two violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
  • On June 3, Riyaad Nabibaksh, 19, of Richmond Hill, was arrested at Mavis Discount Tire, 3320 Sunrise Highway, Wantagh and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and petit larceny.
  • On June 3, Ajib Nabibaksh, 44, of Richmond Hill, was arrested at Mavis Discount Tire, 3320 Sunrise Highway, Wantagh and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and petit larceny.
  • On June 4, Cody Ferraro, 17, of Seaford, was arrested at Wantagh High School, 3297 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.
  • On June 4, John Hixson,17, of Wantagh, was arrested at Wantagh High School, 3297 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.
  • On June 4, Nicholas Manteria,17, of Wantagh was arrested at Wantagh High School, 3297 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh and charged with criminal mischief.
  • A complainant discovered damage to his fence as if someone was attempting to gain access to his yard on Temple Drive on June 4.

So Lu Scala never had any children so it might be safe to say you have never been to a PTA meetingRead More or a School Board meeting or a budget presentation so then you would have no idea how the money is spent good or bad. I'm sorry that your neighbors make more than you but like anything else you get what you pay for there are educational requirements for teaching and administration jobs, I'm sure you would be happy if all the school personnel could be replaced by minimum wage earners or better yet we could close all the schools after all you have been out of school for 40 years so you don't need them anymore, but thats not how it works. Why is always the uninformed that speak loudest and longest?

I never had any kids.. and am the last kid who went to to the Bellmore Merrick school system.....itsRead More been almost 40 years since I was a Mempham grad..and it is very disharting to hear that my many many high tax dollars..are not enought for these kids I have been sororting all these years!!! Who is getting all the money??? Its all bull.. aI live inbetween teachers.. how is it they can afford high end cars, housekeepers, landscapers, ect??????... the money is being spent in the WRONG WAYS TO THE TEACHERS, AND MOST OF ALL THE ADMISTRATION, THE SCHOOL BOARD ECT... I AM CALLING FOR A MASSIVE AUDIT AND GET0 per year.. they afe not worth any more then that.. THE MONEY BACK FROM ANYONE WHO WAS PAID MORE THEN $75,00....
