Cops: 'Known' Bellmore Drug Stop Yields Heroin Arrest

Seaford woman arrested in Roosevelt Saturday night after being observed at a drug use and sales location in Bellmore.

A Seaford woman was arrested in Roosevelt Saturday night after being observed by police stopping at a “known” Bellmore drug area, Nassau County Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives announced Sunday morning. 

According to detectives, Courtney Colombo, 30, was seen by narcotics detectives with her 2013 Nissan stopping at and then leaving the unspecified section of Bellmore described as a “known drug use and sales location.”

Detectives stopped Colombo in Roosevelt just after 10 p.m. and detected a marijuana odor emanating from her vehicle. She was also found to be possession of heroin and suboxone, police said.

Colombo is being charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. She is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on July 17 for a desk appearance ticket.
