Nassau County Police arrived at Mepham High School in North Bellmore Wednesday morning to investigate a reported assault.
A spokeswoman in the Nassau County Police Department's Public Information Office told Patch that police are on the scene at the high school after getting a call for an assault but that she did not have specific details on the alleged incident.
She added the investigation is ongoing and further information may be released later in the day.
