Two Bellmore men were arrested Thursday night after Nassau County Police observed them allegedly conducting a drug sale in a grocery store parking lot.
According to the Narcotics Vice Bureau, Eric M. Crockett,
21, and Anthony J. Tavella, 23, were in the
King Kullen parking on
Sunrise Highway in Bellmore when they were observed by detectives in a hand-to-hand drug
transaction while in a parked car.

out of the car and were placed into custody without incident. There were
no injuries reported.
Crockett is being charged with the Criminal Sale of Marijuana 4th Degree, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th
Degree. He was arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead. Crockett was also
arrested on drug and stolen gun charges in February 2010.
Tavella is being charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th Degree. He was released on an appearance ticket and will return to First District Court on a future date.
