SCHOOL TAXES ???

Can't help but wonder???  Just received my school tax bill.....Crazy!!!  So what do our School taxes actually pay for? High School taxes.  Parents must supply art supplies calculators pens pencils notebooks loose leaf paper  binders tissue paper hand sanitizer markers high lighters white out  & the list goes on and on...... Soon it will be toilet paper.   Most Junior High & High School students leave their  homes by 7  & don't get home until after 3 & than have at least 2-2 1/2 hours worth of homework & lets not forget the weekend homework.  What are they doing in school.  Isn't it the schools job to at least teach our children....  What do our School taxes pay for besides salaries.  Just wondering???
