It pains me to have to write this, but after almost 10 months in the Bellmore community, I will be leaving this site and taking on a bigger role with Patch.
There are so many members of the Bellmore community who welcomed me with open arms and I am forever grateful for your support and helpfulness in my time as editor. From rushing to fires and accidents at 3 a.m. to covering the Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs hockey team, I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of my time here.
I will now be the associate regional editor for the South Shore of Nassau County, and will certainly be keeping a close eye on Bellmore!
I'd like to introduce the new Bellmore editor Danielle De Souza. Bellmore has had a string of amazing editors who care about the community, and Danielle is no different. Please welcome her the same way you did with me.
Again, I'd like to thank everyone who made me feel so welcomed during my time in Bellmore. I'm going to miss covering events throughout the town, but I might drop in every now and again!
