Children of all ages -- the young and the young at heart -- are invited to dress in costumes and join in the community’s annual Halloween Parade, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores.
This year’s spooktacular event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 29. All are asked to assemble at the Bellmore Firehouse on Pettit Avenue at 11:30 a.m., step off at noon and let the Halloween fun begin!
As Halloween-themed music fills the air, the parade heads up Bedford Avenue, continuing throughout the village downtown with trick-or-treating for the children to follow, treats provided by participating local merchants.Last year’s Halloween parade attracted more than 200 participants!
