For more than 50 years now, the non-profit Merrick-Bellmore Community Concert Association has hosted world-class musical performances by guest artists and groups. Long Islanders are invited to subscribe for the full season of events each year, or to enjoy single performances of their liking, subject to ticket availability.
The next concert takes place on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8:00 p.m. featuring the Spectrum Brass performing “Rhapsody: The Music of Gershwin”.
Two more performances will take place this season -- a classical and jazz program by Rastrelli Cello Quartet will take place on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 4:00 p.m., and the sounds of a Paris Cabaret by Gay Marshall on Saturday, April 21, 2012. All concerts are at Calhoun High School in Merrick.
