Gus H. Johanson of Bellmore died suddenly on Sept. 29.
He was the husband of Eleanor, father of Gus, Susan, Gary and Greg. He was also the grandfather of Christopher, Kristen, Jonathan and Jason.
Visiting will be held at N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home in Merrick on Oct. 3 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury Thursday at 11 a.m. NY Thursday at 11am.
