Locals brought their dressed up canines to the municipal lot between Bellmore and Bedford Avenues to compete in Bellmore Barks, which included several events to see who the superior pooch really was.
As with any fashion extravaganza, there was a runway for the dogs to strut their stuff, and there were numerous games, including musical mats.
