A Bellmore teen was recently honored for receiving his Eagle Scout Award.
Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano recognized William Novello of Bellmore at a ceremony for receiving the distinction, which is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”
