The Bellmore band, The Narrative, is working on their third album, according to an article in Newsday.
The group consists of Kennedy High School graduates Suzie Zeldin and Jesse Gabriel. The two said that they never knew each other in school and met on Craigslist in 2006.
The duo told Newsday that their new project will have the same mix of vocals that their fans enjoy as well as more harmonies.
“It’s more explorative,” Gabriel said. “We pushed certain angles harder,” he said of the album in the works.
Zeldin said that one goal of the band is to get even more loyal followers.
“We are definitely hoping to reach a wider audience with this new record,” she said of the project, which will feature a fairly diverse group of songs.
The group performed in the 2011 Vans Warped Tour as well as local venues.
