TOH Offers Free Replacement for Fallen Trees from Sandy

While supplies last, Hempstead Town is offering homeowners in unincorporated areas of the town who lost curbside trees during Hurricane Sandy a free replacement tree.

Hempstead Town is waiving the $150 fee associated with the planting. Homeowners may choose between seven different species of trees. Replacement trees will be planted in the fall of 2013.

Please reach out to the Town of Hempstead's Engineering Department and ask for Brett. They will replace the tree for you in most cases, and if you're a senior citizen, you qualify to have a tree planted in front of your home for free.

Trees actually bring up the value of your property and provide great shade in the summer.
