The North Bellmore Fire Department’s Engine and Rescue Company #2 is hosting a food and clothing drive this weekend to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy in Island Park.
Donations began on Saturday and can be brought to 829 Newbridge Rd. in Bellmore. According to fire officials, non-perishable food and clothing are greatly needed, and the department is expecting the big collection to take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday.
