Editor’s Note: The following was written and submitted by Seth Berger, a Bellmore resident and Hurricane Sandy victim.
I wanted to let you know that on Saturday, Nov. 3, Chef Joseph Ciminera of South Bellmore used his cooking talents to make a giant batch of soup to give out to local residents who needed a break from their clean-up or just wanted to get out of their cold houses for something hot to eat.
The soup was absolutley delicious and every community could use more people like Joe to pitch in and help those in need at time like this.
