The Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs middle school hockey team recently traveled to Long Beach Arena, where they helped sort and distribute relief items to members of the community that were still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy. The players were chaperoned by Coach Tom Condon along with several other parents.

“I am extremely proud of these students for showing such maturity and compassion during a time when so many of our neighbors are struggling,” said Meador Pratt, the principal at Merrick Avenue Middle School.
