Chamber Hosts Santa Run

 ,   Add to calendar
CVS Shopping Center, Bellmore  See map
It has become a much anticipated tradition in the Bellmores that each year the Chamber enthusiastically ushers in the holiday season with the Annual Santa visit, the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Not to break this wonderful community tradition, this year’s event will take place on Friday, Nov. 23.
Compliments of our Chamber of Commerce, the children of the community will be treated to a free movie.

We thank Anne & Henry Stampfel of The Bellmore Movies for graciously opening their theater for us to use. Thanks to our terrific Bellmore Fire Department, Chief Daniel Holl and the members of the Bellmore Fire Department, Santa will magically arrive in the Bellmores by Fire truck for the festivities.

Santa’s route is as follows:

  • Stop #1 – 9:00 AM – North….CVS Shopping Center (N. Jerusalem Rd) Between Bellmore Ave and East Meadow Ave
  • Stop #2 – 9:30 AM – North…Stop & Shop Shopping Center (Newbridge Rd & Jerusalem Ave)
  • Stop # 3–10:00 AM – South …Ace Hardware Shopping Center (Merrick Rd & Bellmore Ave)
  • Stop # 4 –10:30 AM – Bellmore Village…Bellmore Firehouse
    11:00 AM – Bellmore Movies…FREE MOVIE!

As always, we will be distributing give aways for the children. Please open your heart, when you come to visit Santa, and bring a new unwrapped toy for a less fortunate child.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores is proud to be an official collector for the Toys for Tots Program sponsored by The United States Marine Corp. For more information, please call the Chamber office at 679-1875.

A bit of a surprise considering kids come home with a supply list a mile long (and average $40-$75).
