Friends of Deborah Averso-Artz, a single mother who recently died of cancer, have started a fundraiser for her two young sons,  Brendan and Hunter.

Averso-Artz grew up in Bellmore and graduated from Calhoun High School in 1990. She lived in Bellmore after completing college.

"Deb had a contagious smile and lived life to the fullest," Joey Orloff, a close friend Averso-Artz, said. "She was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister and friend who's heart had no limits."

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go into a trust for Averso-Artz's children.

So grateful to the patch for publishing this article for Debs Boys! Totally understandable that not everyone can donate but please share the fundraising campaign on Facebook. It takes just a second and makes all the difference in helping to get additional support for Debs Boys. THANKS for Your Help!!
