Free training of volunteer counselors for the Bellmore-based Long Island Crisis Center (LICC)'s 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week, suicide prevention and crisis intervention hotline takes place.
Preregistration and an interview required in advance to participate in this Counselor Assistant Training Program. No experience is necessary and the hours are flexible to fit the individual needs of volunteers.

The free, comprehensive orientation training program takes place over three consecutive Monday evenings at LICC’s office in Bellmore -- June 13, 20, and 27.
