The Lupus Alliance of America-Long Island/Queens Affiliate, located in Bellmore, is sponsoring this annual fund-raising event, rain or shine.
Residents who did not preregister are invited to do so on the day of the walk starting at 8:30 a.m. The walk itself starts at 10 a.m.
This walk is the non-profit group's biggest event of the year, with over 2,000 people attending and over $250,000 raised every year.
