A North Bellmore child is seeking the community’s help as he continues to battle a rare illness.
Luke Lang is a 5-year-old boy who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
On Sunday, June 30, Mulcahy’s of Wantagh is hosting a benefit to help raise money for Lang’s medical expenses. The event runs from 4-8 p.m., and the $60 entry fee covers open bar, a hot buffet and live music. There will also be a silent and live auction
“He is one tough little boy and will win this battle but him and his family could really use the help and support of each and every one of you,” friends wrote on the Facebook event page.
