Two people were arrested Saturday after they were allegedly found to be in possession of Cocaine and other drugs after a traffic stop on the Southern State Parkway near Newbridge Road.
According to New York State Police, Michelle Pagliarulo, 37, of Patchogue, was arrested after a search of her field allegedly yielded 2.3 grams of cocaine, several oxycodone pills, eight grams of marijuana and a smoking pipe that's used for marijuana.
Police pulled Pagliarulo over after the police car License Plate Reader (LPR) found that her registration was suspended. Her passenger, Andrew Pagliarulo, 34, from Patchogue, was also arrested.
The two arrestees were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Michelle Pagliarulo was also charged with misdemeanor unlicensed operation and for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
Both defendants were held for arraignment in Nassau County First District Court.
