The North Bellmore Civic Association recently announced its Citizenship Awards for 2010.
Winners include Melisa Kreku from Dinkelmeyer School, Ryan Nicholas Collins from Gunther School, Matthew Amberge from Martin Avenue School, Leonardo Santos from Newbridge Road School, Joseph Tavolino from Park Avenue School and Megan Damato from Saw Mill Road School.
These awards are given out annually and the winners are chosen by the respective school. Each student receives a certificate and a $100 bond.
While the school district hosts a formal presentation, the NBCA will acknowledge the students at a fall meeting.
