According to the real estate website Trulia.com, the five-bedroom, two-bath Colonial in North Bellmore - completely renovated within the past five years - is on the market for $529,000. This is a $20,000 reduction from the original asking price when it became available in mid-June.

The Hayes' four children returned to their North Bellmore home one afternoon in May to find their mother dead on the floor of the laundry room and their father locked in an upstairs bedroom.
Police later reported that Thomas Hayes, 43, stabbed his wife, Sherrelle Hayes, 44, and then hung himself.
