Feb. 7: The Super Bowl in Bellmore and Political Notebooks

A round up of everything you need to know about Bellmore today.

Weekends always tend to move too fast, but we've got five things to make your Monday a little easier.

  • In case you missed it, the first ever Town of Hempstead notebook ran on Saturday. The notebook included several major issues including cell towers and two cases of severe animal cruelty in Rockville Centre.
  • A number of students performed at the Kennedy Variety Show on Thursday night. Be sure to check back at 1 p.m. for a full story on the event
  • Yesterday's Super Bowl brought dozens of frenzied football fans to ET Quiggs in Bellmore. Check in a 5 p.m. for a full video report on the day's festivities.
  • In case you missed it, the first ever Nassau County notebook ran yesterday. A number of stories including the recent NIFA takover and Commissioner Mulvey's retirement announcement were featured, so be sure to have a read.
  • The Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs finish their regular season tonight at 9:25 p.m. at Newbridge Arena. The first-place Bulldogs face off against Garden City on "senior night," so be sure to come down and support the team.
