Bellmore residents looking to cool off over the next few days can take advantage of the outdoor pools at Newbridge Road Park.
While seasonal rates are $228 (family) and $121 (individual), daily passes are also available for $7 per adult and $3.50 for children ages 5-9, senior citizens, veterans, handicapped individuals and volunteer firefighters or EMS.
The pools are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memberships can be purchased from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is a main pool and a kiddie pool and a lifeguard is on duty. The main pool can accommodate up to 700 people.

A town worker at the pool said they are operating business as usual.
"Newbridge Pool had about 900 visitors yesterday [Tuesday]," said Pat Rhodes of the Hempstead Town Office of Communications. "Normal would be between 500 and 600."
