The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores held two ribbon cuttings for new businesses in the area.
Laura Sabbagh, CPA and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, is passionate about helping Long Island-based small and mid-sized business clients build a solid financial foundation for their success. She does this by offering a full complement of accounting services, including outsourced CFO services, financial statements, bookkeeping, tax preparation, QuickBooks help, employee benefit plan audits, NYC certiorari audits, and much more. Her specialty industries include rental real estate, professional services, manufacturing and distribution companies.
Prior to starting her own firm, Sabbagh worked in public accounting for both small and large firms. She was an important part of firm management and served clients by preparing financial statements, completing tax returns, and performing audits for companies in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, import/export, real estate, services, retail, not-for-profit, and many more.
Overview Computer Services, LLC was also welcomed into the community.
Marc Menzies was born and raised in Levittown. In 2003, his father, Dr. Gerard H Menzies, decided to open up a dental practice in North Bellmore. Faced with the challenges of opening up a new business, Dr. Menzies enlisted the help of his son, then 14 years old, to research, purchase and install an office network infrastructure as well as a server and two client PCs.
Menzies was also responsible for the configuration of the Dental Practice Management Software. A couple of years later, he was trained as a Dental Assistant and still assists his father every Sunday till this day.
Menzies opened up Overview Computer Services, LLC in January of 2010 and started to lease an office in the same Professional Building that his father practices dentistry three months later.
Overview deals in all kinds of computer service and repairs and specializes in IT work for Small and Medium Businesses. Overview takes care of over a dozen dental practices in the NY area. When not working with the frustrations of the IT world, Marc spends his time with his friends, family and girlfriend, Lauren who has recently started working for the company as the Operations Manager.
