Ralph's on Bedford Avenue to Relocate
With the franchise moving only a few doors down, the building at 206 Bedford Avenue now remains vacant.
Ralph Italian Ices and Ice Cream on Bedford Avenue will relocate to a property next to Bellmore Movies at 507 Bedford Ave in March 2014.
With the franchise moving only a few doors down, the building at 206 Bedford Avenue, adjacent to Umberto's, now remains vacant.
Will Martinez used to work at Scrooge Records on Bedford Avenue before it closed seven months ago. He said that he would like to see another record shop open in the vacant space.
"I would like to see a store with strictly vinyl and equipment," he said. "I think the kids would really go for something like that."
Nancy Moniodes, owner of Nancy the Cupcake Lady, said that she would like to see a few different businesses open in the property.
"I always thought that a nice Hallmark Store would work, or a Radio Shack or maybe a Game Stop," she said. "Something that would bring more kids to the area."
