New Spin Studio Opens in Bellmore-Merrick

Another business has opened on Merrick Road--and it's for the spin lovers.

iSpin, a new spin studio, opened at 2350 Merrick Road on Friday.

The fitness facility, which contains 36 track blade bikes, offers lockers, free towels and its own line of clothing. 

iSpin is one of many new businesses on the bustling street. 

In January, Long Island's first two-story Panera Bread, For Goodness Steaks and Danny's Chinese Kitchen opened to the community's delight. 

In late November, Chocolate Works, which is located next door to the fitness facility, opened its doors. In the coming weeks, Vanilla Sky and Dessert City Cafe will open along the busy road. 

Danny Antin, owner of Danny's Chinese Kitchen, said that iSpin will be a great asset to the Bellmore-Merrick community.

"It think it's great that this whole area is being revitalized," he said. "The opening of Panera Bread, a chocolate factory, a good Chinese food place and now a spin center is bringing a lot of excitement. There are so many things opening that have never been here before."
