New Irish-American Pub Opens in Bellmore

The Olde Pub on Pettit Avenue offers "great food" at a reasonable price.

What's olde is new again.

The Olde Pub recently opened at 216 Pettit Avenue, the property that once housed restaurants, Clearwater Charlie and Lincoln Station

"We are a full service Irish-American pub,  Steven Dixon, manager of the restaurant said. "We have an all around menu that pleases everyone's appetite and nothing costs over $20."

The restaurant offers sandwiches, salads, burgers and an array of desserts.

"Our burgers are out of this world," Dixon said. "And we use products that are local."

Dixon said that he is glad that he can offer families inexpensive meals during hard economic times.

"We take pride in the community and we are here for people who are struggling to make ends meet," Dixon said. "We give people value for their dollars."

He said that the residents of Bellmore have been very welcoming.

"We are building every week and we are getting a lot of positive feedback," Dixon said. "We offer good foods, good drinks and a good time."
