Residents driving down Jerusalem Avenue in North Bellmore have likely noticed that demolition took place near the Little Neck Avenue intersection.
According to a spokeswoman from the Town of Hempstead, the demolition was approved so three new homes could be build in its place.

The old building consisted of a one-family dwelling and a detached garage. There was no update provided as to when construction of the homes is expected to be completed.
