Caramello's Pilates II will ring in the new year on Bedford Avenue.
The fitness place plans to open January 2013. This location was previously occupied by a music and clothing store, Across the Universe. Prior to that was 51st State, a skateboard shop.
The pilates business joins fitness places, Curves and Train for the Game along Bedford Avenue.
According to Wikipedia, pilates is a body conditioning routine that may help build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back.
