Zachary Parker was sentenced Tuesday afternoon to 2.5 years in prison by Judge Frank A. Gulotta, Jr., according to the Nassau County District Attorney's Office.
Parker pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth and Seventh Degrees and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs on July 16.
Parker is the Merrick man at the center of a scandal involving top brass from the Nassau County Police Department.
