"They had to re-gut the whole basement and change everything," Emily, a receptionist at CenterPoint Church, told Patch.

The church is relocating to 98 Jerusalem Ave. in Massapequa. The church's office will remain at 3032 Merrick Rd. in Wantagh.

"It's been a really big change," Emily said. "It's been hard, but good because it shows how the community really came together."

Service times will continue to be on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
