Police confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Sunrise Highway at around 3 a.m. Friday morning.
The details regarding the incident are unknown, and police said more information will be released when it's available. Police also did not provide an update on the status of the victim.
Three lanes were closed westbound on Sunrise Highway between Centre Avenue and Newbridge Road for multiple hours while cops conducted the investigation, which police said is ongoing.

Who is getting all the money??? Its all bull.. aI live inbetween teachers.. how is it they can afford high end cars, housekeepers, landscapers, ect??????... the money is being spent in the WRONG WAYS TO THE TEACHERS, AND MOST OF ALL THE ADMISTRATION, THE SCHOOL BOARD ECT... I AM CALLING FOR A MASSIVE AUDIT AND GET0 per year.. they afe not worth any more then that.. THE MONEY BACK FROM ANYONE WHO WAS PAID MORE THEN $75,00....
