Bellmore Schools are closed on Tuesday, according to an email sent out to parents from the district.
This includes Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center, Winthrop Avenue School and Shore Road School.
"The Shore Road School is still without power, and the phone service in our other buildings is intermittent and not fully operational," the email said. "In addition, the continued fuel shortage has presented us with another set of challenges."
"Therefore, there will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 6 for all students," it said. "I will notify you tomorrow regarding the plan for Wednesday."
