Adult Hip Hop Workshop!

Description: Rhythmology is so excited to bring you our newest workshop: Hip Hop! In this workshop, students will gain a valuable understanding of and appreciation for the improvisational nature of this dance form while learning basic movements and terminology. This class will break down steps and technique and also emphasize how to bring style and personality to the movement.


About our instructor: Laura Mallon,

With a B.F.A. in Dance Studies from L.I.U., Laura is trained in a variety of dance styles. This includes Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, African, Burlesque, Tap, Pointe, and Latin Jazz.

She attended the rigorous Professional Semester training program at Broadway Dance
Center and has worked with artists such as Shaggy, Hettie Barnhill and Channing Tatum.
Having a chance to perform on NBC, in Times Square and venues such as Symphony Space
and Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, Laura has been blessed thus far in her career.

Currently she can be found dancing with Daniel Mulhern Entertainment in Atlantic City, Chez-am Entertainment, Lipstick & Lashes, and Layers Modern Dance Company.


Day & Time: Sundays 4pm-5pm
Dates: 4/06/14- 5/18/14 (Off 4/20 for Easter)
Price: 6 sessions for $80 or $20 per class.
Location: Rhythmology Westbury
