Whiz Kid: Grady Locklear

This week, Merrick Patch has named Grady Locklear as the Whiz Kid!

  • Name: Grady Locklear
  • School: Kennedy High School
  • Grade: Junior
  • Key Accomplishment: Locklear, an Eagle Scout, proposed to clean up and repair the George E. Bunkhardt Arboretum at the Dorothy P. Flint 4H camp.
  • Keys to Awesomeness: As part of his Eagle Scout final project, Locklear repaired the fence, put in new trails through the arboretum and put down wood chips, pruned the trees, had a new sign made up, cultivated around the trees and cleaned up around arboretum.
