The car show at the Long Island Rail Road station in Bellmore has been a mainstay in the local area for many years.
Car owners put a lot of time and effort into making their cars look pristine for display, while enthusiasts pack the parking lot from 6-10 p.m. every Friday night during the summer.
Last Friday, the car show had special meaning for Debby Izzo, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores. It was the second year in which a DJ was on hand to remember her father.
