Feb. 17: Soap Stars to Appear in Bellmore, Merokean Veteran to be Honored

1. "General Hospital" stars, Dominic "Dante" Zamprogna and Chad "Michael" Duell will be at Brokerage Comedy Club in Bellmore on Saturday. Attendees will get an opportunity to ask the actors questions and get autographs and photos with the two. The event will start at 2 p.m.

2. The New York State Senate recently passed a legislative resolution to honor the life of WWII veteran and Merokean, William "Bill" Halleran. Halleran passed away in December 2011 at the age of 93. Read more here.
