Providence Guitarist Performs in Bellmore This Weekend

A guitarist that started his musical career in Nashville, Tennessee and has since relocated to Providence, Rhode Island will be playing a set at Antoinette's in Bellmore on Saturday.

Paul Caraher has been to Long Island before, performing his tunes at Phat Phish in Bayshore and the Old Mill Inn in Mattituck. He also performed in East Setauket.

"Antoinette's is a place that I've always wanted to play in," Caraher said.

Caraher said that his music is a combination of two different styles. He does some tunes with an instrumental jazz guitar vibe or he can do a couple of standards with vocals, such as Frank Sinatra. He also does covers, original pieces and songs by request.

"My first love is jazz," Caraher added. "My dream is to get something consistent in the New York area. I'm itching my way closer."

Carraher, who also performs in a reggae band, will start entertaining at Antoinette's at 8 p.m. Saturday. He estimated that his material should carry him until about midnight.

"Normally I break it up until two or three sets," Caraher said. "I am going to try to mix it up, and I am always open to requests."

Antoinette's is located at 2701 Merrick Rd.

Natalie. I am so sorry to read this. I too have a little 5 yr. old dog who I love desperately...Read More and I feel your pain. There is another website for an organization that does an amazing job finding lost pets. It's LOSTMYDOGGIE.COM There is a small fee, but they get signs up all over the area and have a phone system set up where everyone in the area of where she was lost gets a PHONE CALL ALERT message to watch for Molly. They leave a phone number and their website address so if anyone has seen her or has her they know where to call. Great system! Check it out! I've never used them, but I HAVE received calls myself recently on 2 separate lost dogs and I've seen the many photos they hung up in my area in Levittown for dogs lost within a few miles of this area. In other words, they DO what they say they will do to help find Molly. Just want you to know what is out there to help you bring Molly home. My grandkids go to school around Grand and Camp Ave. We'll be watching for her! God Bless and good luck! I'm sure she will be returned to you real soon!!
