Nov. 22: Hang Up and Drive in Merrick, Psychic Medium in Bellmore

1. Nationally recognized guest speaker, Jacy Good will educate students and parents about the dangers of distracted driving during her talk "Hang Up and Drive"  at Temple Beth Am The Reform Jewish Congregation of Merrick at 7 p.m. The event is free.

2. Psychic Medium Robert Hansen will be at the Bellmore Movie Theater from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Hansen will share his psychic gifts of communication with loved ones who have crossed over to the other side. The event is $30.

3. In case you missed it, two men from Glen Cove were arrested on Monday after a high-speed police chase in Merrick.

4.Registration is now open for the 2012 baseball/softball season. Residents can register at the East Meadow Sports Complex at 90 Merrick Ave.

5. Give back to those less fortunate and burn calories at the same time! Bellmore's Train for the Game will host a fat burning fitness class at J.D. Pratt Construction at 545 Bedford Ave. in Bellmore at 7 p.m. To participate just bring a can of food.
