Many parents often find themselves in the kitchen preparing meals for the family, which can start to feel more like work.
Treat yourself with a session at A la Carte Culinary Services and cook for fun for a change. Whether you go by yourself to meet new people or going with a group of friends, not only can a cooking class be an escape, but it's a lesson you can take back home with you.
The next class on March 24 details how to make homemade mozzarella! It runs from 6-9 p.m. and participants will make two batches of cheese and use it in dishes like: grilled mozzarella and sun-dried tomato skewers; roasted red pepper, portobello and mozzarella napoleons on a bed of greens; pasta with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and garlic as well as bocconcini and prosciutto pinwheels.
