Go right ahead Tiffany, stand in front of the elephants.... The animals are treated better than some people are.....
I can see the headlines now: "NEIGHBORHOOD ACTIVISTS CLOSE DOWN CIRCUS"
Dec 28, 2012 – This lawsuit is no longer the elephant in the room. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will pay the owner of Ringling ...
Just to let you know I viewed your little video clip that was done by PETA. Yes the same people that would torment and terrorize a human being in Manhattan if they were wearing a fur. Now back to the video. It is called positive reinforcement/training. Some animals need to be trained using different types of items or equipment. Also, that video is fine, it shows nothing more than an animal such as a elephant being trained to do and not to do certain things. Either case don't you think for one minute that an animal such as an elephant or a tiger that if they were totally bothered by such training they would turn on the trainer? I guess you do not see it that way. May the circus continue for all ages to enjoy... Would you like to go with me, my treat? Just asking...
Oh believe me they can attack at any given time... Did you know that the human skin is probably the weakest of all mammals....
That is so true. Their natural instincts are amazing. Survival of the fittest amongst themselves is something greater than a human can adapt to. Wow, see I actually agreed with you on something. Better write down the date and time... ;o)
You should have seen those wide eyes and beautiful smiles..... Lets do it again next year....... http://www.mylitv.com/articles/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1149:long-island-childrens-museum-presents-circus-elephant-walk&catid=42:family-entertainment&Itemid=60 http://www.licm.org/EventRegistration.php
OK we get it, you are an animal rights activist we get it. IN NO WAY DO ANY EGREGIOUS ACTS AT PENN STATE EVEN COME CLOSE TO WHAT YOU THINK IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR THE TRAINING OF ANIMALS... Perhaps you would like to rethink your thoughts a bit and rationalize what you just stated. Why is it most animal rights activists put animals first and humans second. That I do not get...
How come PETA and other animal rights groups enjoy using OLD and OUTDATED stock footage to prove a point.... There are so many checks and balances for the animal trainers that people like you refuse to acknowledge. Perhaps, go to the coliseum and explain to them you are interested in knowing more about this topic and see for yourself not some old rhetoric....
To late they have been trained to be tame and will not survive in the wild.. It is like people keep wanting to knock down trees in wooded areas just to build a home. They then want to know why there are wild animals like bears, and deer around them. It is also like building houses on beaches closer and closer to the ocean so they build sand dunes and dams to keep the water away and then complain as to how they get flooded.. Stop the insanity, these animals are probably treated better than humans and will have a good life...
