Lady Rebels Conclude their Williamsport Journey

The NBNM Lady Rebels completed their 2013 Williamsport Tournament journey this week when they represented the State of New York in the Eastern Regional Tournament in Old Forge, PA.  The girls started the tournament with an 8 run extra 7th inning comeback to defeat Delaware 11-3.  The next order of business was Maryland, which they easily defeated 10-0.  The Lady Rebels met their match in New Jersey, losing 12-2, however, the girls had already secured a place in the semi-finals.  The girls played a close game, but were defeated by Connecticut 3-0 in the Semi-Final game.  Their journey did not end there.  They played Rhode Island for the 3rd place spot, and once again in a 6th inning comeback, the Lady Rebels won 10-3.  This concludes the girls Williamsport run, finishing 17 wins and 3 losses.  The team wishes to thank their Coaches Tom Simone, Luke Tarantino, Todd Knowles, and Scott Greiner for all they have done for them.  They would also like to extend their thanks to the NBNM Little League, and the many local businesses that have supported their journey.
