UPDATE: Deer Carcass Caused Suspicious Smell in North Bellmore
Police discover deer carcass in North Bellmore dumpster.
A "cut up" deer carcass caused a suspicious smell to come from a dumpster on Charles Court Sunday afternoon, which caused a full investigation by a Nassau County Hazmat team, police said Monday.
Police were called to a foul smell about 3:15 p.m. on Sunday.
According to police, the medical examiner and the homicide division also took part in the investigation.
