When Valentine’s Day rolls around will you keep it casual or classy?

Azure Lingerie and Fashion Boutique, which specializes in intimate apparel, fashionable evening and casual wear and accessories, gives you the option to do both.

Azure owner, Magaret Papas, opened her first successful Azure location in Bayside, Queens in 2003.  After moving to Nassau County six years ago, she decided the time was right to open her second boutique. In March 2011, she opened Azure at 2880 Merrick Road in Bellmore.

“I felt that the community needed a place like Azure, to bring a little spice and excitement into the neighborhood,” she said. “I feel like it’s something different for the area...the time was right, and the location just popped out at me. I love the view of Mill Pond park right across the street... I love this area.”

A place like Azure certainly goes hand-in-hand with romance and it kicks off the Valentine’s Day season right.

“You can find anything here...undergarments, a sexy dress to wear out, casual wear, evening wear...and if we don’t have what you’re looking for, we can special order,” Papas said.

In the end, Papas wants Azure to be known not as a simple lingerie shop, but a one-stop location for any woman looking to feel beautiful.

 “It’s unique, it’s trendy, it’s fresh, and above all, it’s moderately priced ...you’re not going to find anything like Azure around here,” she said.
